Haha, that's my mum's birthday! It's her 50th this year and she really wants to get mine and my brother's names on the inside of her lower arms. It's my 18th next month too and I've been thinking about it, so we've decided to go together, that way I can watch first and she'll tell me if I'll be able to handle the pain, cause I'm a bit of a wimp

I saw a comment lower down about the numbing cream that I definitely agree with. It ends up making everything twice as long (as you have to wait for it to start working, and then after it wears off you have to stop, reapply, and wait again), and when the pain hits you it sends your body into shock because it all comes at once (a friend of mine had this experience, he's pretty tough when it comes to pain but even he told me not to use it). And remember take along some hard lollies to suck on, as your blood sugar tends to drop and you don't want to faint.
